Default Cd wont eject

hi anyone know anything about why my cd wont eject its making all the right noises but wont play or eject its in my S60R and just comes up errorthe model is a hu 803 thanks allen

very very common. best bet is to remove the unit and exchange it for a working one . should be about £40

Mine did the same last week with THIN LIZZIE in it,just put in another CD and guided the other out,now works fine.

This. Always works, avoids the expense of a replacement. Even trained the kids to do it now. Mine first showed this problem about 4 years ago. No worse now than then.

no wont let me load another cd on any of the 4 discs how do you remove the unit as i cant see any screws anywhere so would need to remove it to buy a fresh one thanks again!!

you can just replace the CD section once removed

Just put a cd in and wiggle it up and down gently while pressing the eject,it is just hung up a tad.

thanks mate took it out and there is bits broken inside so will have to sorce a good replacement anyone its a hu 803 thanks again allen

I may be wrong here( And probably am ) so if any owners put me right that's no bother...but are they "coded" to the car or not? I know mu Hu601 is..or so I've been told. Just in case they are and you waste some cash .


Just checked this on E bay and it reckons it will fit straight in,no codes needed.
