Is the s/w (firmware) upgradeable? (I ask as the vids I've seen don't endear me to the interface much - yet!)

How much would map updates cost?

Does it support changeable audio style by source? (i.e. Off/3 Way/Pro Logic)

Will there be a DAB/DVB version? (Analog is being killed off in the UK in about a year IIRC) and digital radio would be quite nice!

My comment shows I have seen the interface (which was the IPD videos) and I didn't like it - it was a bit too slow & clunky for me. It also doesn't highlight if it's firmware upgradable, or how much the map updates might cost.

If it IS upgradeable, it would imply changes to the UI and possibly speed enhancements

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a very good combination product - but I would be reticent to buy it knowing I'd get miffed with the response time, the missus definitely would, and analog TV being killed off here in the not too distant future would leave a good chunk of it's functionality defunct - but a DVB-T version would be fairly futureproof (you wouldn't need HD on a screen that size, unless all channels eventually go HD).

I'd also go for it more if it's was "badgeless"

Told you all I know at the minute, would love to say more about it but I still haven't had my god damn car back yet, driving round in a hire Zafira which is a god awful pile of crap.

Can't remember who asked me about the amp ohm rating but I did look in the manual and it didn't say anything so I can't help there. Will whip the head unit out (WHEN I GET MY BLOODY CAR BACK!) and see if there is any ratings on there.
