Crazy but I cant find the Interior fuse box location, manual says it's next to the bonnet catch but I cant find it. Needing to find out if the cigarette lighter fuse has blown as it doesnt work to charge my phone.

Default facia

remove the facia just above the little storage pocket to the left of your bonnet catch, you will then have access to the fusebox

As a new V40 owner I also needed to check the fuse for the aux socket/fag lighter.

I took the lower soundproofing off and the plastic trim above the pedals and could not find the fusebox! I honestly spent 10 mins rummaging around looking for a fusebox. I simply couldn't find it.

I even put everything back together and came back into the house to re-check on the forum for any further clues as to where it could be. I was convinced mine wasn't above the bonnet release lever.

I went back out, dismantled the trim and had another look, this time aware it had a black plastic pull off cover. I found it! The reason I couldn't see it (and it had been staring me in the face all the time) - IT'S THE SMALLEST FUSEBOX I HAVE EVER SEEN in 25 yrs of car ownership! It's only the size of a packet of fags. The fuses themselves are diddy little things!

So I'm prepared to look like a numpty and admit I couldn't find the damned thing if this helps any other new V40 owners
