Being aware of the damage you can do to paintwork by cleaning off the tough chalky seagull droppings in our area with plain water I think I have found a handy inexpensive cure.
I purchase some very cheap (£1) tar and insect remover from a firm called Astonish that works a treat on dissolving insect marks. It is usually found in Wilkinson’s or one of the Pound shops. Well it works a treat on totally dissolving bird droppings before washing them off with clean water. It’s so cheap at a £1 you can squirt it several times if it’s a big load and the pressure of the nozzle is fine enough to gently disperse it without scratching it or even touching it. Try it you will not be disappointed!
