depends on year 2002 onwards 8 years or 96000 miles, Think the rest are 6 years 80000 miles definatley no longer.

the renault engine 2000 onwards are 72.000 miles before 2000 were 60.000miles and i would not go over them

This is in wrong forum (mods can we move to V40?). I have a phase 1 V40 2.0 Petrol. Cambelt interval is 80,000 miles. Not sure on the later models.
