Daily mail nov 11th page 29 ''Failing the MPG test''
Surely some others must have noticed this article regarding fuel consumption where the Govt test figures bear no relation to actual. The Volvo S60 2.4 D5 SE is quoted by the advertised figure of 47.1 to drop down to an actual useage figure of 22.5 . What were they doing to it driving in first? Our V70 diesel gets up to 55 MPG if driven gently and rarely drops below 45. Others I know get similar figures. Am I missing something here? Cheers Nige
