I have a recent problem of rain water entering into the front nearside footwell on my 1990 760.

The only place I can think of is a leak on the lower edge of the wind screen.

Has anyone has a similar problem and am I correct in suspecting the seal of the screen, or is there another possible cause.

The drain from just below the screen is clear.

Any suggestions or thoughts will be welcome.

Wrong forum. You'll get more replies in the correct one.

First things first, have you tasted the water to make sure it is rainwater? It could be coolant from heater control valve or heater core. Make sure, a sweat taste and you're dealing with coolant. If it is rainwater, the two likely culprits are indeed the windscreen and also the little vent down in the footwell. Check carefully and seal with silicon, just make sure you do not lock any water into the body which will cause no end of problems.
