Matter of choice

Realising that we had forgotten my brother-in-law's 30th birthday (he does live in Germany), my wife and I were thinking about what to do for ours. We decided that we should each be allowed to fulfill one dream. She want's to cruise down the Nile, and I suggested a Volvo 780 or a Honda Goldwing. When I asked her, which she'd prefer she replied, to my surprise, a Honda. What do you guys think? Anyone out there a biker?

Well, it's freezing cold over here at the moment but once the sun is up in the sky and the Belgium summer is here, no probs. The swimming pool awaits and so does the barbie and loads of beer. Got both Belgian lager and proper Cream of Manchester, not to mention hmmm Old Speckled Hen. Damn, I'm longing for those sweat summer evenings in the lower 90s with a cold pint and smoking cuban.... However my birthday is on Nov 16. I know, my mum's timing sucks. November is a horrible month to be born in. Still, for my birthday the missus always cooks a proper roast with homemade horseradish sauce, carrots, parsnips from the back garden (grown by me, like to play Alan), Yorkshire pudding and a very nice bread'n'butter pudding. Coffee, the best port and one of those cubans again... Everyone's welcome. Very easy to get here from the Brussels ring.

In theory yes, in practice probably not. I am the sort of person who does not like spending more than say 2000 pounds on any vehicle. I suspect you need more money than that?
