having read a letter in the sunday post, a lady swears by x-1r oil treatment claiming she now gets 16% more m.p.g.
i have never heard of this particular additive, i have looked up their website [www. savemefuel.com] and wondered if anyone had any comments on this product.

There are lots of these additives on the market:

Motorup
ZX1
Slick 50
Wynns fuel saver

to name but a few, some of them do seem to work but 16% is a bit optamistic.
