A friend was on holiday with us in Andorra last week when his gearbox failed on a Chrysler voyager. This happened on the Wednesday morning.
A gearbox was located in Madrid, was at the garage on Thursday and fitted by Friday 5 pm. The cost of getting and fitting (but not the part cost of) the gearbox which is an 8 hour job and requires a hoist big enough to take the voyager? 224 Euros or £154 in UK terms. Makes you think.
