Has anyone managed to get a 480ES on (future) classic insurance? Mine is now over 17 years old and I would like to put it on such a policy with limited mileage. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Chris Knott are saying it is not possible solely because the car isn't garaged.

Many thanks

Chris

Try ringing some of the insurers in classic car magazines.

Look for the adverts that say 80's Classics.

I rung one and was quoted the princly sum of £200 to put my 1987 740 Turbo on classic insurance even with it parked outside on the driveway. I was limited to 6000miles a year pleasure use.

Unfortunately the cheapest I seem to be able to find is around £330 for 6000 miles! (And it is not as quick as a 740 Turbo!)

Just insured my 1996 850T5, Rica, with Peter Best 01376 573033. Unlimited mileage, not garaged, agreed value, protected NCD for £355.
