245 entered in Production Car Trial.

Hi All,

I have entered my 1978 245 Estate in the MG Owners Club (Ulster Centre) Autotest and Production Car Trial on Saturday 22nd January 2005.

I have never used this vehicle for this sort of event before as 1) its an auto and 2) its too big.

However the weather is too cold to use my kitcar so the Volvo has been dragged out into the cold.

Anyone here used an Auto on the PCT or autotests before ?

It should be a real laugh but I want to give at least some of the other entrants a run for their money.

Just being picky, but it's an MG Car Club event, not the Owners' Club. (The Owners' Club isn't RAC affiliated so can't run timed events.)

And you're certainly heroic doing this one in a 245. I used to do the PCTs in my 2CV many years ago which was quite suitable, but in a Volvo...???????
