volvo are now offering a three year or 36000 mile servicing package for £100 which normaly is worth £800 on the new s40 and v50 registered between january 1st and june 30th. bearing in mind i have not seen many of these new models on the road, am i correct in assuming that volvos sales targets are not meeting their expectations?

wouldnt say so - the mini has this and its success is phernominal - i'd say its to dispel the myth that volvos are hydiously expensive to service

I got a new S40 back in Sept 04 and since then seen loads on the road. How many Volvo drivers do 36K in 3 yrs. I have been reading on these forams people who have nearly 200K in 8 years thats about 2K a month! Maybe they are trying to keep the re-sale prices up? Mine will have about 64K after my 3 years are up and it's time to get another.
