Thinking of buying ones of these with extra seats in rear. This means I loose the spring loaded steel cargo net. What I can I replace it with?

A dog guard ?

on struts from the roof. fold up to the roof when not in use. Not sure if they foul the seatbelts though. (But Im about to buy one for my v70 so I will be able to confirm some time next week.

I think the manual says that you can't have the metal fold up dog guard along with the extra seats.

I think you will find this is a 'safety' can't have rather than a physical can't have. With the 'dog guard' down and the back facing seat in use it is possible for small people to be trapped in the rear of the car with no way out quickly in an emergency.

My 760 estate currently has both but the back facing seat is coming out for sale.

yeah look over here and it states in the brochure that the steel cargo net is removed when rear seats are ordered.
