On my newly purchased car, all wheels have a locking bolt but the seller did not get me the key. Now, I have three slow punctures and need to sort this out. I cannot weld but I do have access to air tools. Someone told me that you can buy a socket that will fit any locking nut or bolt. Any ideas where I can get this or any other useful tool?

If they are Volvo locking nuts, I'm told that they are only a few variations and dealers have all the keys. I needed to get one undoen, and a dealer did it for me there and then.

Nope, not Volvo. Dare I say it is a Rover....

This universal key was mentioned a few weeks back on the Forums. Can't remember the context though. My brother has just had to get a new wheel nut key for his SAAB; it arrived next day from Sweden via his local dealer. Surely Rover could manage something similar?

a hammer and chisel is the obvious way out

good idea vinny, a good quality sharp chisel and a two pound hammer should solve the problem effectively, i had exactly the same problem with a pals bmw and solved it easily using this method, brute force does somtimes works amazingly well!
