Sat Nav updated disc

I have an 05/55 XC70 Volvo with a RTI navigation system. I want to upgrade the disc. Can anyone tell me where to get a reasonble prices disc and does the upgraded disc have a facility to input a postcode. My current one doesn't. Many thanks

I have 2009 and an unopened (still sealed) 2010 discs for sale.

They came with my 2009 (59) XC70, but I'm not sure they are compatible with your XC70, they might only work in the new shaped 2008 onwards models.

It depends on the makers of the discs. Pre MY2008 Volvos had NAVTEQ RTI 3 disc systems fitted, but post MY2007 cars had the DENSO RTI 4 disc systems. So far as I can accertain, the Navteq and Denso system discs are not compatable with each other.

I think I read somewhere that the new 2008 onwards model had a different satnav system, that's why I put that JohnnyBravo would need to double check.

I also think that the 2011 XC70 has a different satnav system again.
