Not quite sure if this'll Help malc ...But its the same Type of Plug thats used in Most Laptops (to keep the Time / Date Running) if you have an old Lappy remove the main Battery & find the small time Date battery (usually a flat CR2025 Jobby) with Soldered connections on the Battery itself.....

If IT IS the same I've got an old Lappy under me desk I can BUTCHER fer ya .. Just let me know

NOTE*** There is a Larger version of that type of plug & THAT is mainly used in CORDLESS PHONES (NOT Mobiles) the type you have connected to yer Landline at home ... AGAIN I have a few I can BUTCHER if Needs be

Malcolm try cpc or rs components as they will have the battery and the correct connector for the alarm siren look for a part number on the batteries then ring them S they will be helpful

Or if you have a Maplin store nearby, pop in and discuss what you need. Some stores are quite helpful. Prices arent too bad either.
