A 5-door C30 is exactly what's been missing for years IMO in Volvo's lineup!

To the best of my knowledge this is on the same stretched old Focus platform as Ford's upcoming new Focus ST and will presumably have the 2.0l Ecoboost engine in its T5 version...same as the Euro S60V60 T5s.

Unfortunately, IMHO, the big manufacturers have squeezed out the smaller brands and now step in to fill the gaps. Bit like the supermarkets :thumbs_down:

their aiming for the bmw / audi drivers,, we Know they never ever look behind them or check mirrors,, so Why put large windows in the back that will never be used ...and as a bmw/ audi driver,, will they Have 3 friends to put in the back,,,, and if they did ,,and you were one of them,, wouldnt you prefer small tiny windows so no one could see it IS you ,,,
