Is there anyone in easy reach of Market Drayton who might be able to diagnose the long-standing problems we've experienced? There's been a lot of advice here when I've asked about possible reasons for the Lambda light being continuously on, and our garage has checked most things. They have suggested that the ignition control valve (hope that's the right term) might be worn but are reluctant to replace it because of the cost of a new one and then finding that it's not needed after all. If someone could do a diagnosis at a moderate price for us while we're on holiday - the local specialists are very good but will charge a small fortune, apparently - it might be possible at last to solve the problem.
