Ordering an XC90 and interested to know how much the Running boards add to the width. The XC90 fits in our garage, with the wing mirrors folded.
Garage opening is about 2.1m wide and XC90 is about 1.9m. If the Running Boards add too much, it will be a challange to get the car in/out of the garage! The local Volvo dealer doesn't have a car with Running Boards on to quickly give me some measurments.

Hope someone here can advise.

the Volvo running boards fitted to the XC90 don't actually add any more width. the sills on an XC90 are slightly recessed in relation to the wheelarches. when running boards are fitted they basicly take up this difference in width. so the boards when fitted lie almost exactly in line with the wheels. so you should be fine :-)
