Can anyone recommend a good garage near Halifax?

Ive just moved over to Halifax and have a set of lowering springs that need fitting to my C30. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic/garage in the Halifax/Huddersfield area?

It's not in the Halifax/Huddersfield area but seeing that your location's Leeds I'll give you the name of the place my Dad used to swear by when he was around.

It's P & R Cars on Burley Place in Leeds (Google map it and you'll see) They're an independent Volvo garage and are pretty reasonable in charging.

Its a bit suspect the Good Garage Scheme Steve. The garage I use is listed as doing A/C work - done by a mobile guy in a van and Steering Alignment - done by the Tyre and Exhaust company next door to them. Its not the truth but not a lie either.

I have been using David Tunniclffe at Headlands garage in Hipperholme for over 20 years, up the hill from the lights just past the Grammar School and it's noo surprise that I will recommend him.

He has a couple of lads work for him, the youngest Dan was 2 years below me at school so must now be 40 and started as an apprentice at 16 - no spotty main dealer yoofs here then!

Go see him, tell him a Harrison sent you. Ice cream from Kendalls across the road outstanding as well.
