Hello.

Any views welcome thank you.

The front two fabric seats got wet with sea water after swimming. The seats dried but there are stains in the fabric.

How can the stains be removed?

Thank you for reading.

Use a wet vac to clean the seats fully cos if you only do the stain then you will have patches cleaner than the rest of the seat.

In the past I've used a foam (aerosol) type product..think you can get it form the likes of Halfrauds etc....doesn't over-wet the fabric but as Darlo says...do ALL of it..not just the bit that's stained.

I did have one car, a while back, that I was going to sell.

I got some of that upholstery cleaner from Halfrauds (as it was just round the corner from where I used to live in those days),

I did a very good job. I was surprised as to how much cleaner the seats looked! I used to do them with the vacuum cleaner every week and didn't think that they looked too bad until I used the cleaner. OK, it took a little effort with the scrubbing it in, but it was well worth it.
