Help needed with phone and tv on 2000 v70

Hi folks just bought a 2000 v70 t5 havent got a clue about digital upgrade for tv sat nav not reading the disk in the multi changer and the phone unit requires a sim card can anyone help with what type of sim card etc etc

volvo do not have an answer for the digital tv conversion on older cars yet .

the cd reader in the rear may be faulty , best thing is to send it to be repaired , Central services in Ipswick are on here somewhere who are experts in these .

you can use any GSM SIM card in the phone you can use the one out your mobile phone ( if you have one ) to test it . The latest 3G ones wont work .

I have a prob with the phone in my newly acquired V70 '03.
I've put in a virgin gsm sim, although the phone will use the number of my sim it doesn't seem to register the credit!

Sorted now - phone does not accept Virgin sims!
Orange sim now installed

Clan - can't make calls with no credit!!

ahh thought you were getting free calls there " the phone not registering credit" ;-)

I know bugger all about this but can you wire a small 12v digital tv box in and splice the arial in and out of that. Then tune the tv to the box and use the box for channel changing dvd interface etc.
