My newest car I've ever owned being a 1992 940, I forgot all about engine covers until when I went to look at a V70 today

I'm assuming all Volvo engine covers are undone with the same size socket or is there a special tool, the bolts looked star shaped, I do have a set of star shaped sockets, can't remember what they are called???

Make sure you use the right size bit, it's sometimes tricky to get the bit in especially if there's some muck or corosion in the bolt head, the next size down will seem to fit until you apply any pressure to it at which point the bolt head and bit will get mangled and the bolt is really hard to get out.
