v40 nightmare

help is there anyone out there who can help???????? I have just rebuilt my t4 engine and it runs but when you switch it off and on again the management light comes on and gives me all kinds of crazy faults. On the verge of destroying it with JCB!!!

Probably get a better response in the V40 section, as people from there might not read here .. but here goes:

Have the codes read, they'll point you in the direction of the problem.

yeah i read the codes myself and it says camshaft position sensor CKT range/performance, then next time it says crankshaft position sensor CKT range/performance, THEN it says crankshaft position sensor circuit malfunction. i dont understand, maybe timing as had the VVT pulley off but the marks seem to line up.

Maybe theres a fault with the Crankshaft position sensor?

Just going on what you said in your last post, that would be the logical place to start, no? The sensor itself might not be installed correctly? Check the wiring to it hasn't got caught/pinched?
