Someone is the family crashed his car, so he will now get my 440. I will replace this with something more fun, i.e. turbo. It will need to have all electric and have sunroof and perhaps even leather. Apart from the space issue, should I go for a 440 or a 480? Can't stand the 460, did they even do them in turbo? Also, do all turbo's have rear dics or just the 480?

George,

Always go 4 a 480.
Only make sure it is a post 1991 model which is well taken care off.
The looks are great, the performance is quite good (turbo version) and, provided, you can find a workshop which is familiar with 'ins and outs' of the car, relatively cheap and economical to drive.
At:

you can read about my (mis)fortunes with this great car during 20 months of ownership

Good hunting

Hi. Having had a 440 Turbo, I can say that I would go for that one, but it depends on how practical you want to be at the end of the day.
The 480 will always be the 'head turner', but you might not crave such things. Also with 480s you always have to check the rear lights have been 'modified' to prevent ingress of water, as this is a known weak point on the 480.
They (all 4x0s) are quite easily modified as well if you are into that sort of thing.. ;-)

One interesting fact though, is that the 460 Turbo, the one you can't stand, happens to be the lightest and the fastest out of the three in standard form.

Cheers dude,
Dan.

I have sort of solved the problem by buying a 740 Turbo. Here it is: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1753399074&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=0&indexURL=0&rd=1. Don't call me crazy because I know that already.
