View Full Version : S40 (2008) Service Schedules

Hi

I have a 2008 (08) S40 2.0 D which is about due for its 4th service at around 58k miles. It has a full dealer history but the dealer has quoted me around £385 for the standard service which he says is an intermediate one.

Given that it's out of warranty I've no desire to line the dealers pockets further and plan to get it done at a local independent as it will be much cheaper.

Does anyone know where I can view the service schedules (i.e. what work needs to be carried out) at this and subsequent services? I just want to make sure I don't miss anything like cam belt etc (if it needs one) so any help appreciated.

Thanks

you might as well have 62.5K service level at that mileage rather than the 50K...you 8000 or so over that and technically not far off the 62.5K/5 year one.

pretty much the usual jazz the only major point is the tyre canister change for the 50k one.

Thanks. Is there anywhere I can get a copy of the schedules so I can give to the guy who will service it?

There's this:

but I think it relates to the US models rather than UK??

US not UK. i know there is a link to the UK one which just shows all the mileages and the different things for replacement.

Yeah I thought so. If you would be kn=ind enough to root out the UK one I'd really appreciate that as I haven't been able to find it.
