Hi,
Does anyone know if the 'honeycomb' grille from the latest s40 could replace the rather ugly one on my 2005 v50? If it can, how difficult is this to do?

Thanks. Does it just pull off? Or do you need to undo any hardware?

No you don't need to undo any scews just a flat object/blade ect and start
at top of grill you should here a slight click then work at the bottom of the
grill .Go top corner R/H. Bottom corner L/H. Make sure to cover the the object.use a duster/thin towel.:)

My dad bought an S40 so I did a swap. I released the snap-fit pins and Torx screws at the top of the front moulding and got in behind with a screwdriver to release the clips at the top of the grill. A bit of persuasion and it popped out.

The new grills are different shapes!?

A post 2008 S40 grill will not fit a pre 2008 S40... And vice versa...

Oh, just read, the post was from 2006 :( my bad!
