I am trying to find out what most of your cars running temps are as mine is running on average at 190-200 degrees and I think this might be a little high as the auxilary water pump kicks in every time I switch the car off, any help would be greatly appreciated

Fletch,

Three guesses:
1) You're driving a Turbo version of the Cheese Wedge
2) it's the oil temperature
2) the temperatures you mention are in fahrenheit, so that would be 88 - 93 degrees celcius.

Basically nothing to worry about as the auxilary waterpump always kicks in when your switch off the engine.

Water temp around 70-85 C
Oil temp a tad higher normal driving, seen up to 120 C on my old one foot flat to the floor for a few mins, current one doesn't go above about 110 C.
