I am in the process of stripping and rebuilding my M41 gearbox and overdrive from my 1970 1800E.
The problem I have is how to get the lay-shaft out.
The Haynes Manual says the lay-shaft should be pressed out.
But this seems to be refering to a M40 gearbox and it does not want to budge.
Does anyone have a guide or diagram that would assist.
