Hi everyone, i'm new to these forums but i thought i'd make myself known and also ask for some advice. I've recently purchased a lovely T-5R manual estate in metallic green with all the bells and whistles and i feel like a teenager all over again.

At the moment it's very original but i want to add a few performance upgrades over the coming months which would be, an induction kit and exhaust. My question is which brands give the best increase in power from your experience.

One of the things wrong with the car is when you lock the car via the remote all the doors lock etc but the boot doesn't which leaves me awake at night worrying someone could get in via the boot, even though the alarms go off as soon as you open it.Is it an easy job to change over the remote locking motor etc.

Thanks Mike.

Not sure if the 850 is similar to the 960 but with mine it depends how the key is withdrawn from the boot as to whether it central locks or manually locks.

Try turning the key to the opposite of where it is now (either horizontal or vertical)

Thanks for the advice, but unless i'm being stupid, there is no keylock, it's all flushed off. The only way to lock/unlock is via the remote.

Key lock..... Try lifting this flap from the bottom and you will find the key slot under.. :)

Congrats on the car by the way (seems we both have good taste in colour). As for induction kit and exhaust i have a 2.5" cat back system supplied by Don at Kalimar Union which does help the car breath. Also a KN induction Kit, not sure that it gives a performance increase but it does sound good :)

If you need any help with anything the people on here are more than happy to help out. The performance section has a wealth of people only to happy to help.

Enjoy the forums and the car.
