Yes.. I have used RT Mechanics for about the last 3 years and have found them to be nothing short of excellent.

You will always get an honest opinion over any issues and their customer service is second to none. Damn site cheaper than the Dealer Network and in my experience carry out a more thorough job too.

I have also recommended some others from this Forum to them also and they also say very good things about them. They may well post here also.

Good luck

I use Charlwood Volvo who are near Gatwick Airport. Very friendly and knowledgeable. There are normally about 15-20 cars in their yard so I guess they are pretty good!

Hello Burchi! Were are RT? I live just up the road from you and didn't know there were any specialsts in our neck of the woods?

Yes, Ian recommended me to RT, and I can only reiterate what he says, and that they are absolutely superb. So impressed, that I had my wife’s Celica serviced there as well.

Are RT Mechanics a volvo specialist or just an independant place you've found to do good service? Could be a possible place for me as well - if they're really good and cheap...

blues60, is in liphook, between haslemere & petersfield just off the a3

Cheers, Pete

RT Mechanics are a Volvo specialist although I have seen the odd other rogue make of car there like a Merc or 2 when I have been there! Principally they are mainly committed to Volvos though.

They are based in Liphook about 3 mins walk from the Village Centre.

Oh and other plus points are they always give a free courtesey car and give any VOC members a 10% discount too!

does anyone know anywhere i can go in stafford apart from the specialist swedish place on the tollgate ind estate, as they are rip off merchants.

I need a cambelt/tensioner fitting and need a reliable place to go.

Here's a list of garages from the VOC main site. I expext there is one near you. They are not all 100% up to date as I called one who are now a Vauxhall dealer. They were happy to help though.
