Hi all,

Firstly thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum. I read pretty much every post before taking the plunge and buying my new 06 D5 SE last week. Very happy I am too!

Can anyone recommend a value-for-money boot-liner/rubber mat for the rear? Volvo obviously do them but I am looking to shave a little off the £100+ they want to charge me.

TIA

I went for a "Bootsuit", since I don't plan to leave it in the car all the time
and wanted something a little more hard wearing and easy to clean.

For me it is mainly for taking garden waste to the tip. The odd bit of liquid is
kept inside the box.

p.s. Found a trader on ebay selling this a little cheaper than the
website above.

Gurj - can you help? I sent a query to 'Bootsuit' asking how it manages when you use the XC90 drop-down tailgate, but I never had a reply. What's your experience? Do you have any photo's by any chance?

Also, when I looked at eBay I couldn't find a Bootsuit seller that was cheaper than from the company, when p&p was taken into account. Do you have any links?

thanks and regards

With the middle seats up, it fits well and the tail gate end flaps down
to allow stuff to slide off the bootsuit. Also the shinny side goes down
so the whole thing can move backwards and forwards a little if needed.

With the middle seats down you can choose to fold the seatback side
down or slide the whole thing in further. Sorry don't have any picture handy.

I bought mine for £52 (inc delivery) on ebay rather than £57 inclusive from
the main website.

I bought a boot mat for my XC90 - colour matched to the upholstery - through e-Bay from a supplier in Bradford. Probably not as effective or waterproof as a bootsuit but just a piece of tailored carpet that keeps the standard fittings clean - total cost including postage - approx £24
