i'm currently looking for insurance for my c70 gt t5 convertable.
i've tried volvo owners insurance and it's over £600.
is it worth using volvo for piece of mind or go for a cheaper quote with another company.

Yes, my wife's C70 quotes from VOI are also high (for my S80 they are good value). I was with Norwich Union through Chris Knott, but changed to Norwich Union through Norwich Union Direct. Confused, yes, but they were cheaper. You need to check carefully what is being offered, excess amounts make a big difference.

When your renewal for Norwich Union Direct comes don't just renew it, requote online on their site and 90% of the time it wil be cheaper and they will honour it. It is something to do with new customer discount bonuses, it just means a new policy number but it works.
