Indie in the Reading area

Do any members know of a good indie garage in the Reading area, I'm looking for good local service.

If you want Volvo Independent then use Phil Whitakers in Slough - www.pwcars.co.uk

If you just want a good garage there is one at Bourne End - buggered if I can remember the name but it is run by a bunch of former AA mechanics - all of them about 60 years old.

Haven't found one yet :( and I live in Reading however have used Phil Whittaker's to fit my aircon in my old 940 but would recommend Grosvenor Motor's in Caversham (although they are BMW fans - my other half's car and they did my Servicing and Odd bits when I didnt have the time) they are very honest and good rates too - ask for Pete. Depending where you are I would seriously recommend Fawcetts in Newbury (although they are a main dealer they are best IMHO).

MOT City are very good, in Wokingham close to the Halfords. Ask any minicab driver, they all go there. RT Mechanics in Liphook are superb too, but a but further down in Hampshire.
