2008 S40 Key fob not working

Hi All

I have 2 keys for my S40, one works fine. The other, none of the remote functions work.

I have tried the put key in move to position 1, pressing and holding buttons until you get a flashing dashboard light but to no avail

It's not the battery as ive swapped between the two and it's fine

On the menu it does say there are 2 keys so it is aware of the other one

Any ideas?

Its the last model S40 before they discontinued it.
