Well with the onset of cold weather its not only the temperature that's falling so is my MPG
I drive a 2007 D5 auto which I have owned for 3 years.
Its now reading 27.8 MPG, I travel 11 miles round trip to work and back barely reaching over 40 mph due to town driving.
Has anyone with same setup experiencing same low figures.
even if I take the car for a run to let it regenerate I cant get it to go over 30 mpg.
even on a run earlier this year to Nottingham I averaged only 42 mpg.
don't get me wrong I love the D5 grunt and power it has on tap, but I think its time to move on and revert back to petrol, as I cant justify the £285 road tax & low MPG
Looking in about 6 months to change and really fancy the new V40.
with me only doing 7000 miles a year it looks like diesel is out of the question and the petrol T2 T3 T4 variants are on the table
Has anyone who owns the above petrol engines have some real time MPG figures for town driving. Probably looking at T3 T4 engine still in the automatic transmission
lets hear your MPG figures for comparison
cheers Tony
