2005 S40 2.0D strange running issues

We have a 2005 S40 2.0D with strange running and other issues,it drive`s as normal then it will just cut out randomly and will not restart.

The wipers will also just start moving on there own and there is an immobiliser fault in the code reader,also the anti skid control will activate by itself for no apparent reason.

we cant seem to pinpoint one specific issue that's causing this strange behaviour and we are at a loss,does anyone know what is wrong or can shed any light on this problem..THANKS.:thumbs_up:

Remove the CEM and clean all the connections and contacts.

That happened to my 2005 S40 2.0D as well. Faulty CEM unit, cost me Eur 900.00 to get replaced. Take Wooders advice and try cleaning the contacts first. It's located in the passenger footwell behind the liner.
