Does anyone know how to access the washer bottle filter? I know it's via the front offside wheel but is it necessary to remove the wheel or what? Is the inner wing liner easily removable assuming that it would have to be removed?

Thanks in anticipation

If it's a 2.0l D it is on the drivers side behind the wheel arch lining. The lining itself isn't that hard to remove!

Yes, the fender liner is easily removable. You'll need Torx drivers for the screws (#25?). I don't know about a filter in the system. I'd be surprised if it was more than a screen. If that: the parts breakdown doesn't show any screen:

There is indeed a filter, it's a rubber one that's part of the seal between the washer motor and water bottle. It's hidden up behind top of inner wing.

Ps, it's part number 5 on diagram

Listed as "plug"? Interesting, and good to know.
