For a while now, every time I turn the engine off and try to get the key from the ignition switch, the car insists on keeping hold of the key, the little bugger!!
Sometimes the key will come out and I think ah ha... I've caught the car napping! Other times I seem to have to go through some bizarre gear shifter wobble, brake pressing, steering wheel turning, key turning to bring ignition lights on whilst swearing profusely at the dashboard ceremony just to get the key back to its initial start position to get the key out of the poxy hole!
Does anyone have any ideas why its doing this? Is it a case of the gear shifter not being properly engaged in the P position- to the best of my knowledge it is properly engaged when parked. Is it an electrical fault or some other symptom that's causing me to loose my rag with it!
