The silver finish on the front calipers of my C30 isn't proving to be very durable, after 30k miles and less than two years from new they've started to rust noticeably, the rear calipers are fine at the moment but I suspect they won't be too far behind.

I can paint them when the weather warms up a bit so it's no big deal but I wondered how Volvo are likely to react if I suggest they should be replaced under warranty?

Anyone else had this on a relatively new car.

No you will not get them under warranty fair wear and tear. I would just get the wheels off and put it on axle stands get them painted and do a full wheel clean and seal whilst there.

Wow, that's possibly the most pointless accessory I've ever seen.
It's like lifting the bonnet and finding a huge photo of a V8.:)

Do you mean "rice" ? :D

And have you watched the fabrication video? all that cutting, filing and modification just to make them fit .. what a waste of plastic!

.. I think their intention was to revive the old days when almost every Lada had a Pioneer sticker on the rear glass and Sebring by the exhaust.
