POWER SYSTEM URGENT SERVICE? IS BAD BATTERY? OR ALTERNATOR?
cHANGE AND CHARGE THE BATTERY BUT AFTER 5 TO 10 MILES RED WARNING MESSAGE WILL COME BACK AND DRAIN BATTERY?

These cars have a 6th sense when it comes to power failures and the Power System message is an early indicator that your alternator is failing.

Yes you could possibly get many months out of it yet but on the other hand you may just get a few more journeys.

One thing to note is that when an alternator eventually goes on these cars it can go spectacularly, there are some that have ended up on fire (no joke).

I would urge you to have codes read and replace alternator ASAP if found to be at fault.

That's the same warning I got with my alternator. They can last and also overheat if ignored or just pack-up resulting in you driving off the battery reserve until that gives up.
Fairly cheap replacement if your a DIY person and don't mind loosing the skin on your knuckles !
