Hi all,
Thought someone else might find this useful, but having had a very poor condition rear wiper arm (the wiper was hooked to it by a cable tie) I replaced it with one that's meant for VW Golf / Polo (aero style). I used a box cutter to take a bit off the plastic cap so it wouldn't scrape the window and the seal.
Got the arm and wiper for a tenner off Amazon (the item is called Surepromise AA366) plus needed a wiper arm remover, which cost about the same.
You can see the area it wipes in the attached pic
