S40 D3 Engine

I have a 2011 reg S40 D3 5 cylinder Diesel 150 bhp does It have a Volvo or Ford engine fitted ?

Your D3 is a proper Volvo engine, it's actually the D5 lump with a smaller stroke, taking it down from 2.4 litres to 2.0. D4 is the same except mapped for higher output.
