Would a 6 tonne press be enough to press suspension bushes? I can buy one for less than it would cost me to take the suspension parts to nearest garage and pay to have them fitted.
It would also be easier to buy cheap pattern parts complete with bushes and fit these, had advisories on front lower arm bushes and rear tie bushes. Don't want to poly bush it.

What route would you take?

Hi
Not sure about the press ( I would risk it)
you may need a knife edge bearing puller to remove the inner sleeves could be done with very careful hacksawing.
once removed make sure there are no burrs on the bush surfaces this will make pressing in the new ones a lot easier.
Remember a drop of oil is worth two fitters ( lube the bushes before fitting WD40 or similar)
Make sure when you press the new bushes in that they are in the same position as the ones that came out . If you do not the arm may sit higher or lower this will give a twisting affect on the bush and reduce it's life
