Newbie technical engine question

I am considering buying an early B16 PV, however I believe the engine will be too small for my needs as I need to tow my small lightweight classic caravan. My question is how difficult is it to swap to a B18 engine given its already converted to 12 volt. Will there be a problem mounting to gearbox etc and sorry to ask a further question but any good B18 engine builders / suppliers I could use ?

Don't underestimate the B16, loads of grunt. As far as I am aware the swap is a doddle.

The B16 is a good engine but some parts are getting thin on the ground.

I have a fair bit of B18 and B20 stuff about.

Swapping to the B18/20 is not complex and is a very common conversion
