Hi all
I hope someone can help. I've seen a P1800, that's runable but is it need of some loving care and attention.
I'd like to know if there's anyone who can recommend someone to inspect it before I lay out some money.
Quotes I've had from the big organisation RAC, Dekra etc range from £165 to £350. Most being above £250...
Thanks in advance
Tony

As 1800 Register Keeper for the club I have inspected quite a few cars for people in the past. I'm not a professional mechanic but I have owned over twenty of these cars and fully restored five of them. however as I have a full time (and a bit) job I can't travel to the other side of the country, or do it tommorrow, so it depends where it is and how quickly you want it doing. If you want to discuss it you can call me on 01733 767811.

Mike
Thanks for your reply.
It's good to know that there are others out there that have done what I want to do. Who wants to be the first anyway?
I have actually managed to arrange an inspection, for next Monday. As there doesn't seem to be many of these lately I don't want to let this slip by.
To the untrained eye (mine) it looks in pretty good nick externally. We'll see what the results are next week. If I get a green light then I would be interested in talking to you.
