It's a hex' head screw, though of an older design. Modern versions come complete with built in washer.

Problem is that I need two for the grill on the PV and can't find any the right size here. They are not big into diy car maintenance here in the Algarve. Probably have to end up paying €15 for shipping!

The one indicated by the red arrow on the VP parts book drawing is actually the threaded stud on the inside of the grille surround. This uses the nut/lock washer/ plain washer shown next to it. The screw #955137 isn't in the fastener book so can't help you there. The actual one is shown on the drawing above the centre of the grille and would be #33 but that's missing here. Lists 7 as being used so there is probably 3 down each side and one in the centre underneath?
Using stainless is good here as new generic ones usually have poor plating and rust easily. The Volvo ones would have a dull galvanised finish.

Hi Derek. It's a replacement surround. The original ones probably had the stud. my one had the U bolts and screws.
