Hi Folks,

A cautionary tale !!

My wife just got stuck in town with the car 'konking out' as the immobiliser kicked in. This was due to the fact our kids had triggered the alarm when it was on our driveway and my wife didn't lock and unlock the car again before driving off, hence the immobiliser wasn't reset.

Just be careful if you drive off when the 'Alarm Triggered' message is showing ... you may not get far !!!

(Problem resolved by nice stranger pushing the car to the side of the busy road and everyone getting out of the car to lock and unlock it again).

As good an arguement as any for kids to be locked up in the boot... :)
For those with estates etc try tying them to the roof bars.. :)
