Rear Window ? ( V50 )

Can ayone tell me what the "etched " lines on my offside rear window
are for ? ( V50 )

They look the same as the heated rear window elements, but don't seem to
do anything...

I think it's the radio antenna - there's not actualy anything in the fin in the roof - worth remembering if you want to wire a sta-nav ariel in.

Hi,

If it is an ariel, you will see the connector for it at the bottom of the window.
This should lead to a power source to power the ariel and then the lead from here off to your radio..

The connector's at the top on the V50 and a complete pain to get to if you don't want to remove your headlining (which you don't). Careful poking around up there as it's right next to the gas canister for the side curtain airbag.

Thanks for the correction, wasn't so sure as on my 2 they are both on the bottom edge of the window. Easily accessable by removing that side panel.. :)
